# Galaxy Box
A Galaxy Box is the capsule from which pilots emerge. Initially, we released 7000 Genesis NFTs or capsules. Some of these were distributed to the [MarsDAO ](https://daomars.com)community, some to guilds, partners, and others (see [Tokenomics](https://docs.cosmicfomo.com/game-tokenomics-and-the-mdao-token)). The original Galaxy Boxes or Genesis NFTs could only be purchased through a whitelist, and they were sold on a special platform on the Binance Smart Chain.
After opening the NFT box, a pilot emerges from it.
The probability of obtaining a pilot from a Genesis NFT:
Common — 80%
Uncommon — 20%
No additional Genesis NFTs will be issued or released.
