# Test Pilots

Test pilots are free and are issued automatically when you register a new Cosmic FOMO account. On user accounts created before the introduction of the HARDCORE mode, a Test pilot is also added automatically.<br>

Test Pilot Features:

* Allows flying in HARDCORE mode only.
* When participating in a HARDCORE race with a Test pilot (and also when using other types of pilots), the user's account is credited with the Energy units required to participate in SOLO mode.
* Test pilots cannot be bought or sold on the in-game marketplace.
* These pilots cannot be upgraded to a higher level, and their characteristics are always the same.

Test Pilot Characteristics:

* Income 1
* Capacity 3
* Luck 1
* Durability 1<br>

Test pilots are permanently attached to one account — they cannot be transferred to an NFT wallet or sold on the in-game marketplace.

With Test pilots, users can participate equally with other players in tournaments and other activities related to Hardcore mode.
